A grassy green with very subtle (and I mean, VERY subtle) shimmer.

When I put the first coat on, I looked over at my husband and asked him, “Do you like this color?” He promptly replied, “Yes, it’s very nice!” Well, at first coat, I didn’t really like it on my skin tone. After the 2nd coat (which was still balding), it started to grow on me, and I quickly topped it off with a 3rd coat. Much to my dismay, it didn’t do such a good job at being opaque. Maybe it would have taken 4 coats, but since my 4 month old son was asleep (and would awake at any moment), I didn’t really want to risk putting on another coat and ruining it all if I had to pick him up. The formula, however, was nice and does not smell as bad as the fast drying top coat (and it must really smell because of the chemical that makes it dry fast!). The smell was bearable like most polishes, but that’s besides the point! I was truly disappointed that it didn’t become opaque, but I am sure it would have been if I had done just one more coat. A great thing about it was that it was drying fairly quickly. It also gave off almost a matte finish to me. Yes, there was shine, but not completely like some polishes do. I did top it off with my fast drying Julep top coat. It’s definitely a nice grassy green, but I’m not so sure exactly HOW MUCH I enjoy it on my skin tone. It’s one of those colors that I will wear when I want to match it with something or wearing in the Spring (pretty much a seasonal thing!)

Since Finger Paints “Flecked” has the green to blue flakies, I thought to myself, “Hey, let’s see if this changes the dimension of the polish. I am sad to say that it did not (even after 3 coats, which is what I usually put of the flakies for the full coverage. Just merely added the shimmer that I saw in the bottle), but then again, there was no sun out, and I may have to try it out another time.

Current favorite/want/need: “Save Me” from Nicki Minaj’s OPI collection! It’s almost like birthday cake confetti!! Yummm…
